    Elected as chief criminal prosecutor for Grayson County – population 118,478. Manage office of 13 attorneys and 23 staff members. Responsible for the administration of budget of 2.8 million. Legal counsel for Commissioners Court. Chief juvenile prosecutor and CPS attorney. Personally and successfully tried more than one dozen felony cases to a jury including capital murder (death penalty), murder, aggravated assault, aggravated sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping, and intoxication manslaughter. Undefeated in trials. Re-elected without opposition in 2004, 2008, and 2012.
